Description
Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cold Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air. This model includes a no maintenance PowerCore® filter. By using Donaldsons PowerCore Filtration technology submicron contaminants load on the surface rather than collecting in the depth of the filter. This is why we warranty our replacement air filters for 4 years or 150000 miles in urban conditions whichever comes first. Customers using the Volant CAI kit with the scoop report 2-4 MPG improvements in fuel economy, as well as dyno-proven horsepower and torque increases. Volant is the first air intake company to properly apply a functioning Cool Air Scoop to a sealed air intake box.
